Arthur White is the Director of Jazz Studies and Assistant Professor of Music at Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK. He has a BA in Music from Emporia State University (KS), an MM in Jazz Pedagogy from West Virginia University, and will complete the DMA in Saxophone Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro this year. White is emerging nationally as a saxophonist, composer/arranger and educator, and has recorded with an assortment of jazz and creative musicians, including jazz legend Dewey Redman, Fred Wesley, Chris Murrell, Scott Wendholt, and Bobby Watson. White has arranged music for jazz luminaries Mulgrew Miller, Kevin Mahogany, Henry Johnson, Dewey Redman, Scott Wendholt, and Bobby Watson.
